This year will certainly look different than any other and as your middle school counselor I will do my best to help you navigate and adapt to whatever comes our way.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns – I am here to help!

I have created a virtual office that is filled with lots of information and resources that I will be updating regularly - coming soon to this page but check it out by clicking on the link under Middle School Counseling Resources!

MIDDLE SCHOOL COUNSELING SERVICES:

Individual Counseling:

As the school counselor, I work with students one-on-one to help support their social, emotional, academic and behavioral goals.

Group Counseling:

Over the course of the school year, several small group opportunities will be available to students. Group topics could include things like social skills, friendship, or stress management. These groups provide support as they encourage students to socialize with their peers, learn valuable skills and develop a sense of belonging.

Classroom Lessons:

I will be teaching a class for 8th graders called Teen Adventure.  All 8th graders will take this class as part of their exploratory rotation.  Topics will include career exploration, mental health & stress management, healthy relationships and more. I will send home a complete list of topics with more details when your student is taking Teen Adventure.

Consultation with Families:

I am available to talk either by phone or in person and can provide support and resources for all families.
