Hundreds of degree programs - not offered by Vermont's public colleges - are available with a significant discount on out-of-state tuition at public colleges in the five other New England states. As a permanent resident of a New England state, a student is eligible for the RSP when enrolled in an approved degree program offered by a specific public college or university in another New England state. Information on approved majors (associate, bachelor's and graduate) is available under "Tuition Break" and then "Find a Program" at http://www.nebhe.org/ Other information is also available on that website and pamphlets are also available in the School Counseling Office.
Qualifying students have the chance to win a new car or one of three $1,000 scholarships. Information regarding this opportunity can be found here. Deadline to register is April 30, 2019 and report cards are due on or before May 4, 2019. Students will need to bring a signed release to Mrs. Vincent in the School Counseling Office in order for report cards to be submitted. Students can pick up a release in the School Counseling Office or here. Requests for report cards are due no later than May 2nd to be sure the deadline is met. (posted 12/5/18)
Receive up to $2,500.00 to pursue career and technical education. 1,020 scholarships will be awarded. To be eligible: applicant must graduate in 2019, be enrolled in a 2 year or less career or technical degree/certificate program in Fall 2019, demonstrate financial need. The Imagine America High School Scholarship is an award-winning scholarship program offered by the Imagine America Foundation. This scholarship is for high school seniors planning to attend a career school participating in the Imagine America High School Scholarship Program (Students who have graduated or who will graduate between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019 may apply.)
