Red Sox Foundation Scholarship: This initiative rewards graduating high school seniors across New England who are making a meaningful impact through service in their local communities by awarding them a $1,000 college scholarship. We are beyond excited to bring this initiative back after the challenging year we faced with the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that students all over the country had a difficult year academically, socially and civically. Though there were many obstacles, we also know that many young people maintained their commitment to giving back. We want to recognize and reward those high school seniors who stepped up to serve their community to be a source of positivity during this unprecedented year. We are now accepting Red Sox Service Scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors who will be attending a 2- or 4-year institution in the fall of 2021. We will award 100 applicants with a $1,000 post-secondary scholarship, with winners being notified by Monday, July 12. Scholarship recipients will also be given the opportunity to attend the Red Sox v. Blue Jays game on Wednesday, July 28 to be recognized during a pre-game, on-field ceremony!
