honor Roll

At VUHS we believe that students should be recognized for excellence in both academic skills and habits of work skills. Although we separate those skills at the course level and do not count the HoW proficiency score as part of the Course Score, we feel it is important to use both scores in determining eligibility for Honor Roll and High Honors. We will do this by requiring a baseline proficiency score for both the Content Score and the Habits of Work score in order to qualify for Honor Roll. Honor Rolls will be calculated twice a year, once after the first semester and again at the end of the year.

Honor Roll:  

A student must have a baseline proficiency score of 3.0 for both the Course Score and the Habits of Work score in each and every course. 

High Honors:

A student must have a baseline proficiency score of 3.3 for both the Course Score and the Habits of Work score in each and every course.
