3 Students Honored at PHCC Outstanding Students Awards

We are proud to recognize several of our PHCC students for earning Outstanding Student Awards this past week.

On Thursday, January 16, Juan De La Cruz was named an Outstanding Student in Construction Technology, and Lola Rollins received an Outstanding Student Award in Sustainable Agriculture. On Friday, January 17, Willow Hotchkiss earned an Outstanding Student Award in Culinary Arts.

These recognitions reflect the commitment, skill, and professionalism our students bring to their Career and Technical Education programs. We are very proud of Juan, Lola, and Willow for their hard work and dedication.

Girls Basketball Milestone: 1000 points for Ashtin

Congratulations to Ashtin Stearns on reaching 1,000 career points in girls basketball. This milestone marks a significant achievement and recognizes the consistency, leadership, and dedication she has brought to the court throughout her career.

As students work to finish the semester strong, Ashtin’s accomplishment reflects the commitment our athletes show every day, giving their full effort in their classes while continuing to put everything they have into their teams and their sports.

Boys Wrestling Milestone: 100 Wins for Stephen

Stephen Kittredge reached an incredible milestone with his 100th career win, secured in just eight seconds. This accomplishment reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to his sport.

As the semester winds down, Stephen’s achievement highlights how our student-athletes continue to shine by balancing academic responsibilities with rigorous athletic demands. His success is a reminder of what is possible when students bring focus and determination to all areas of their school experience.

Girls Wrestling Achievement for Addie

Congratulations to Adeline Smith, who earned top honors as the Most Outstanding Wrestler at Mill River’s inaugural Don Allen Invitational, winning the 120-pound weight class. This is a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for our wrestling program and school community.

Adeline’s success is a testament to her dedication, discipline, and confidence on the mat. As we reach the end of the semester, it is inspiring to see students like Adeline putting in full effort to finish their classes strong while also finding the time and energy to compete at such a high level.
