Marine Biology Summer Camp
Are you considering Marine Biology as a major in college? Come explore marine biological research first hand at Roger Williams University (RWU) in Bristol, Rhode Island. The RWI Marine Biology Summer Camp is a one week introductory program for high school students in coastal ecosystems. Our classrooms are the dynamic, thriving marine environments of the southern New England coast. Summer Marine Program students will learn about coastal ecosystems, food webs, productivity of the sea, plants and animals in the coastal zone, current events in marine biology and much more.
Session I: July 20 to July 26, 2008
Session II: July 27 to August 2, 2008

American Management Association
Operation Experience
Operation Enterprise is open to kids age 16-18. This program is now accepting applications for their premier management and leadership program. This is an eight day residential summer program recommended for three semester hours of Undergraduate College Credit by the American Council on Education. Camp Daybreak

Camp Daybreak is a summer program that serves children ages 8-11 who need extra help and support. Camp Daybreak is looking for teenage volunteers who serve as big brothers and big sisters to the individual campers, all of who have special needs. For more information go to www.vamh.org.
University of Vermont
The University of Vermont is offering summer opportunities for high school students through their Summer University, World Debate Institute, and The Summer Arts Program.
UVM also has several enrollment options available to high school students. The Academically Talented High School Students Program offers students up to 50% tuition discounts. The College Connections Program allows high school students to explore college while still enrolled in high school.
