About Me

I am originally from Goshen Mass, a small town in the western part of the state. In 1977 I joined the US Army and served in Korea, Panama, and El Paso, Texas. In 1982, when I left the military and moved to New Hampshire I met my wife. We have been married for 26 years now and have 3 children. They are all grown now.

I love hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing. My favorite place to be is somewhere on the coast of Maine in the summer time.

I was in Law Enforcement for 10 years. I worked for five years as a Correctional Officer in maximum security and five years as a Police Officer. During that time, I saw first hand while investigating car crashes, what happens to people in a car who are not wearing seat belts.

I hold a Bachelors of Behavioral Science degree from Granite State College, am certified in NH and VT to teach Driver's Education and completed my Masters Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University in 2010.
I am an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in the NH Driver Education Certification Program at Keene State College. I teach new Driver Education Instructors.

We live in Plymouth, so yes I travel a pretty good distance each day. I plan on working for SAU-23 until I retire someday.

As students who know me will tell you, I believe 100% that if everyone took that extra 2 seconds making sure that they were buckled in and all their passengers were as well, many lives would be saved on our nations highways.
