2010 Philomene’s Fury
In June 2010 the VUHS rowing team entered the first ever Philomene’s Fury on Otter Creek. The Team of Chelsea Ross as coxswain and rowers: Dale Eriksen, Max Campono, Rachel Clark, and Emily Patterson took first place in the youth four oared division. The race was a choice between four and eight miles, originally the team wanted to do the eight mile race but the other two boats entered were only doing the four miles so they changed their minds and raced with the other two boats.
